Above you can see a brief map of my plot of land. This over head view shows many of its main features, including a path, a sand bowl, fallen trees and large trees.
Todays date was October 30. It was colder but not too cold. The weather was dry and around the upper 50's in the after noon. I went outside at about 6:30 while it was still light out. The sun has been setting earlier and earlier so I have been having to get out there before the sun goes down to get good pictures. There was little to no wind today unlike the previous week witch contained lots of harsh winds. today was only 10 hours and 23 minutes long. it was fairly quiet when I went out there, I did hear some rustling leaves as I walk as well as some animals probably squirrels or maybe even a deer nearby walking through the woods. Here is also the link to my document of tables where I compare the leaf color and leaf fall of each of my visits - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Wp7xu3nIu5cYjPSjSm9gHQZ5C4Xv61Q6rV4OiAGeeK0/edit North East South West
Here are pictures that I took from North, East, South, and West facing the same tree in my previous posts and below are notes about what I noticed. North side East side South side West side Todays date was 9/27/22 and pictures were taken around 5:45 pm. The weather was cold and cloudy and roughly 50ºF, there was also some rain throughout the day so everything was wet. The length of day was 11 hours and 55 minutes. I heard some birds including a large bird that I saw as I was entering the area that flew off. I noticed a few things had changed around the area. In the last picture of the West side, you can see a branch that had been broken off and the leaves were changing colors, but mostly everything else was a lot alike. This time is was much wetter than the last time because it had just rained. As I looked around the area and studied the tree I was wondering when the leaves would start to change color, because fall had come I assumed the trees leaves ...
